BRG CAVE   (CLICK ON THE "PHOTO PAGE" LINK ABOVE FOR MORE PHOTOS) This cave was recently discovered in a "unique" area where many other caves have been found.  The cave was first discovered on June 26th 2004 by James Cawley.  It was explored and mapped the following week by Aaron Mason, Vern Bowden and James Cawley.   This cave is very impressive size and length wise.  If you would like a copy of the BRG Cave (pre)Map, send me an email.   jamesdcawley@hotmail.com

 

CAVE DEPTH AND SIZE

We used survey points to map this cave, granted we did not have all the proper tools, but we did a very good job for what we had.  The length came to 580.40 Feet.  We did not have the proper tools to measure a good depth, but the cave consistantly decends.  We guaged the depth at 200+ feet.

FORMATIONS The cave has many formations, to the right is a photo of Aaron Mason looking into one of the larger crystal formations within the cave.  There is also much flowstone within the entire cave. jamesdcawley@hotmail.com
